The Tansian University Football Team on 26th Nov,09, beat the boys of Oko Polytechnic, Oko, all in Anambra State in a football match hosted by the later. The scores which was 2-1 against the Oko boys sent the Tansian boys home as victorious as ever.

TANSIAN UNIVERSITY NACOSS YESTERDAY GRABBED A WEB PRESENCE
The Computer Science students of Tansian University yesterday launched their website which is designed by two of its students, Chike Okoli and Chike Igwilo.
Check them out at www.tansiannacoss.com, advertise with them, ginger them up.
The benefit of a website these days cannot be over-emphasised, especially to students.
We the students are doing the best on our part to uphold Tansian University, because we are proud of our great university!

TANSIAN VARSITY EMPLOYS NEW PRINCIPAL STAFF
Tansian University has taken another broad step foward to its bid to becoming a world class university by employing new professors and PhD holders (all decorated with degrees of higher level from different top universities around the world and with full of work experience from different universities) to occupy the principal posts.
The new principal officers are as follows:
Prof. E. N. Osakwe - Deputy Vice Chancellor
Dr. Mrs. S. Asakwara - Registrar
Dr. S. Nnoli - Bursar
Mr. Joseph C. Amafulu- Academic Librarian
Prof. E. Osakwe - Dean, Natural and Applied Science
Rev. Fr. Dr. D. Mmo - Dean, Management and Social Science
Apart from the above post, other posts include the post of Director of Academic Planning and new Head of Departments for all the dozen departments presently in the university including that of Mass Communication, whose new Head of Department is a gentleman named Dr. Obiukwu Ogwueleka (PhD) .
As a student, I expect nothing but the best for us and prospective students and a world class university as my alma matta.

MASS COMM TANU HAS A NEW HEAD OF DEPARTMENT...
Mass Communication Department has just gotten a new Head of Department, the third since the inception of Tansian University.
As students, we hope for the best thats all. The school authorities can go ahead and change all they want.

FOREX TRADING, can the computer science teach it in 2 days?
Most students after seeing the banners hung around by the computer students of Tansian University regarding a 2day seminar, their attentions were drawn to the part of making money legally on the Internet especially FOREX TRADING and GOOGLE ADSENSE.
Some students came to me and asked me, "Guy, since you people know much about the Internet, do you think it is possible for this computer students to teach one how to TRADE FOREX in 2 days plus other things?"
The question caught me unawares so I blushed and thought for a while before answering. This was my answer.
"Chairman, we all know what FOREX TRADING is, it is not something one will perfect even in 6 months, but one need a good start - which is the most important thing - and I believe that is what the computer science students wants to give us all, and for N2,000, men, it is worth giving them a trial. Get a good start now that they are bringing the opportunity to you and then learn more and more through more seminars and online researches".
The student said "Man, I think you are right, but be sure that when I get this good start, I will still contact you so that you can tell me what next to do".
I said, "Nice, then go pay your 2K and grab a good start from the Computer science guys". And that was the end of discussion.
Well, if you are asking the same question, I think my answer above might help a little. GO GRAB A GOOD START! Then come and build it with the necessary assistance.

TANSIAN THEATRE GROUP
Words are going around that the famous Tansian Theatre Group(Approved by the Tansian University) will be organising a CHRISTMAS SHOW that according to them "will be hotter than fire".

TANSIAN BOYS BEAT METALLURGICAL INSTITUTE BOYS IN A FOOTBALL MATCH...Wonderful!
The Tansian Football Team (TFT) on 7th November, defeated the football team of National Metallurgical Training Institute of Onitsha in a football match hosted by the Metallurgical boys, on their ground!
The Tansian boys who were conveyed in the school's luxurious bus to Metallugical Institute, where they went and fought tooth and nail for victory came back gloriously, singing victorious songs on top of their lungs as the school bus negotiated into the school environment.
You bet, the Tansian girls took over the party and on and on it went.
Before God and man, the Tansian Football Team (TFT) are good.
The Tansian community was as happy as David when he stoned down the mighty Goliath.
